PSN not working: Fans anger as major network crash causes huge outages to PS4 Network

*** UPDATE FOUR - 9.30AM GMT ***
The PSN network is back up and running with Sony reporting that all online services should be functionioning normally after nearly a full day of being offline.
The hacker group known as Phantom Squad, who previously crashed the PlayStation Networkaround Christmas, have also claimed responsibility for this latest outage.
*** UPDATE THREE - 11:20PM GMT***
It's doesn't look like good news for PS4 owners as the PSN network has been down for going on seven hours now. Unfortunately there is no sign from Sony PlayStation as to when this outage will be fixed.
Those looking to speak to PlayStation support will also not have any joy either, as the page currently carries the warning: "We are currently experiencing high volume and wait times. For up to date information please follow us at @AskPlaystation"
Unfortunately for frustrated PSN users, the only update from @AskPlaystation - which is Official Twitter support for PlayStation, PSN, PS4, PS3, and PS Vita from Sony Computer Entertainment America - came 1 hour ago and merely stated: "We are still working on resolving today's issues with PSN. Thanks for your continued patience."
